3 Bouts That Could Steal The Show At ONE Fight Night 37

Russian Muay Thai fighter Abdulla Dayakaev

When ONE Championship touches down in Bangkok, Thailand, for ONE Fight Night 37: Kryklia vs. Agdeve on Prime Video this Friday, November 7, fight fans tuning in will witness history in the making.

In the main event of the organization’s latest American primetime card, two-sport, two-division conqueror Roman Kryklia aims to become a triple-champ when he challenges debuting undefeated Turkish slugger Samet “The King” Agdeve for the inaugural ONE Heavyweight Kickboxing World Championship.

Before they trade leather, #4-ranked divisional contender Nico “King of the North” Carrillo crosses paths with Luke “The Chef” Lessei in an equally explosive featherweight Muay Thai battle.

But beneath those marquee attractions lies a card stacked with compelling matchups across MMA and Muay Thai – fights featuring international stars and devastating finishers that could produce the night’s most memorable moments.

Here are three bouts that could steal the show inside the Thai capital this weekend.

#1 Rambolek Chor Ajalaboon Vs. Abdulla Dayakaev

Fourth-ranked bantamweight Muay Thai contender Rambolek Chor Ajalaboon and #5-ranked Abdulla “Smash Boy” Dayakaev go head-to-head in a bout that has all the makings of an instant classic.

At just 22 years old, Rambolek has already established himself as one of Thailand’s most promising talents. The Superbon Training Camp product arrives at this pivotal fixture riding a four-bout winning streak, including highlight-reel stoppages against Dmitrii “The Silent Assassin” Kovtun and Parham Gheirati.

The Thai star, who holds a 66-14 career record, possesses an exceptional skill set and incredibly high fight IQ. This will be pivotal against a warrior who brings Dagestani striking excellence to this matchup.

Like Rambolek, Dayakaev heads into ONE Fight Night 37 on a run of four victories in succession – all of which have come inside the distance. In his last outing, the talented 23-year-old blitzed Nontachai Jitmuangnon in just 24 seconds to score the fastest knockout in the history of ONE’s Muay Thai division.

With both strikers riding momentum, rankings implications on the line, and the firepower in their hands, this fight should produce mayhem for as long as it lasts.

#2 Suablack Tor Pran49 Vs. Johan Estupinan

A thrilling flyweight Muay Thai showdown between knockout artists Suablack Tor Pran49 and Johan “Panda Kick” Estupinan promises to deliver white-knuckle action from the opening bell.

The 29-year-old Thai received a coveted US$100,000 contract after reeling in four successive finishes on ONE Friday Fights. He earned another pair of wins to take his winning streak to six, but then hit a rough patch with three consecutive setbacks.

But as the saying goes, form is temporary, and class is permanent. The NP Suablack representative bounced back in style with impressive victories against Sangarthit Looksaikongdin and striking legend Seksan “The Man Who Yields To No One” Or Kwanmuang this year.

Suablack combines lightning-quick combinations, flashy moves, and a finishing instinct that create highlight-reel moments. But standing across from him in his flyweight debut is a man who packs just as many tricks up his sleeve.

The 23-year-old Colombian is hungry to bounce back at ONE Fight Night 37 after suffering the first defeat of his career. “Panda Kick” racked up five back-to-back wins under the ONE spotlight to take his slate to 27-0 before suffering a majority decision loss to Japanese veteran Taiki “Silent Sniper” Naito in June.

His aggressive style and willingness to engage in firefights have made him a fan favorite, and those same qualities should guarantee an entertaining clash against the equally explosive Thai slugger.

#3 Avazbek Kholmirzaev Vs. Willie Van Rooyen

In a battle of flyweight MMA stars, surging Uzbek wrecking ball Avazbek “Ninzya” Kholmirzaev welcomes undefeated South African sensation Willie “White Lion” van Rooyen to the global stage.

Kholmirzaev aims to maintain his impressive form in his American primetime debut following a successful campaign on ONE Friday Fights. The 24-year-old earned six of his seven triumphs in highlight-reel fashion, immediately establishing himself as one of the division’s most dangerous finishers.

Most recently, he scored the biggest win of his career with a dominant three-round display over Japanese veteran Tatsumitsu “The Sweeper” Wada en route to a six-figure contract. Now, the Raqobat affiliate will put his 13-2 slate and 92 percent finishing rate on the line against one of Africa’s most exciting fighters.

Van Rooyen arrives in ONE Championship with his own impressive credentials.

The 23-year-old has compiled a perfect 7-0 resume. More impressive, he’s attained five victories inside the distance, which includes a 37-second knockout this past May that helped him capture the EFC Flyweight Championship.

“White Lion’s” crisp striking and finishing ability will immediately be put to the ultimate test, though, as Kholmirzaev’s relentless pressure and similarly spectacular finishing rate will be out to ensure the judges won’t be needed in this must-watch encounter at ONE Fight Night 37.
